| On the day that the conference in Estes Park ended a bunch of us went to the home of the Terry Kruger (the father of the Kruger brothers). | |||
| We had a really nice relaxing time, a barbecue and time for fellowshipping and rest before hitting the road towards Kansas City. And Shane made time to do some work on the pod while there. :-) Thanks Krugers for the generous hospitality! | |||

Next we spent some time recuperating, meeting with area young readers, and generally having good times at the home of Mike Wood and family in the outskirts of Kansas City. Thanks Mike Wood for yet another year of warmly welcoming us! |

| Somewhere on the interstate in Michigan the water pump in the pod broke. Good thing Shane is so good with such mechanics, we were only slowed down by a few hours and the cost of a new water pump. Good job Shane! | |||

| Here you can see some of the customs agents who searched our vehicles and questioned us as we attempted to enter into Canada. Most cars don't get searched, but the pod always does, I guess no one can resist the temptation to take a good close look at the pod! | |||
| The Canadian customs agents actually joked around with us and were very friendly. Here we are stopped at the border upon entering into the USA at a small border crossing between Montreal and Vermont.We thought it would be funny if we pretended to be lined up like convicts or something. We spent two nights in Montreal at the home of Guy and Dianna. It was a very nice visit and we got to meet with a handful of area readers while we were there - we had such a great visit, thanks to our reader friends in Montreal! | |||
